Enjoy smooth skin

Electroepilation is the only method for permanent hair removal

What is electroepilation?

The only method for permanently removing hair, regardless of hair color, thickness, and skin type.

During electroepilation, each hair follicle is permanently destroyed by targeted electrical impulses, allowing the permanent removal of hair of any color and texture.

The treatment is suitable for all body zones except the nostrils and earlobes.

Have you always dreamed of getting rid of unwanted hair permanently?

Many hair removal methods — from shaving to laser and IPL hair removal — offer only temporary relief, not a permanent result.

Often, these methods only slow down hair growth, cause inflammation, and ingrown hairs. Additionally, they are not always effective on light, gray, fine, or fluffy hair.

If you're looking for a truly effective and long-lasting solution for smooth skin, choose the proven method — electroepilation — and enjoy lasting results.

The effectiveness of electroepilation

Electroepilation is a procedure based on chemical, thermal, or combined action exerted on the hair follicle by electrical impulse. No other method has as rich practical experience as electroepilation, which was introduced almost 150 years ago.

  • The first successful attempt to remove hair with electricity was achieved in ophthalmology, in the treatment of trichiasis (ingrown eyelashes towards the eye). Using direct electrical current, doctors removed incorrectly growing eyelashes.

Professor Charles Michel, an ophthalmologist at the Medical College of Missouri, published the results of his work in 1875, and the method became known as "electrolysis epilation."

  • Soon, this method also became widely used in cosmetology, but the procedure took too long.

Removing each hair took at least 10 seconds, and with thick hair, it could take up to 1 minute.

This prompted the search for ways to improve the method, which was carried out in two directions. Firstly, the search for a way to speed up electrolysis. Secondly, the attempt to apply alternating electrical current instead of direct electrical current.

  • In 1945, Henri E. St. Pierre, an electrologist from San Francisco, and Arthur Hinkel, an engineer overseeing equipment for thermolysis, developed a new epilation device.

In this device, the experimenters managed to combine the work of alternating electrical current and direct electrical current. In other words, to unite electrolysis and thermolysis.

The new method was named "Blend," which means "mixture" in English.

In the 1970s, the method was widely recognized by cosmetologists.

  • Electroepilation quickly spread throughout Europe and America.

One problem was the lack of devices due to their excessive size and high price.

In 1976, the first computer-controlled device came on the American market. Since the late 1990s, compact devices of modern design have been manufactured.

Apilus xCell Pur

I work with the most advanced device currently available worldwide.

Equipped with artificial intelligence, Apilus xCell Pure allows for the selection of the treatment method individually suitable for each client and body area.

The ultra-fast 27.12 MHz high-frequency pulses achieve a higher concentration in the hair follicle, resulting in even faster, long-lasting results for all hair types. The treatment is so fast that it is hardly noticeable. Milliseconds are enough to remove the hair!

The device combines multiple methods, significantly reducing the risk of contraindications, making it safe and versatile for all skin types. Additionally, the device is equipped with cataphoresis and anaphoresis functions, which promote deep hydration and skin restoration both before and after the procedure, ensuring maximum comfort and effectiveness.

With such high comfort, Apilus xCell is the best solution for all body and facial areas and for all clients — even the most sensitive ones!

How does electroepilation work?

Electroepilation is a method of removing unwanted body hair using targeted electrical impulses, resulting in the permanent destruction of the hair follicle and root.

  • Each individual hair is treated with a fine insulated probe inserted into the follicle along the direction of hair growth. Subsequently, a brief electrical pulse is released, generating a combination of heat and electricity. Under the influence of this pulse, the hair is detached from the follicle and can be removed with tweezers.

  • The perception of the electrical pulse is individual and may be felt as a warm sensation or slight tingling, similar to plucking hairs. The intensity of sensations may vary in different areas of the body.

  • To better illustrate the process and assess your skin's reaction, I offer a trial treatment (10-15 minutes) after a consultation. For a trial procedure, the hair should be at least 3-5 mm long.

The trial treatment lasts approximately 10-15 minutes and involves treating a small area of the desired zone. This allows you to observe the healing process after treatment and assess your own feelings.

  • - Acute or chronic skin conditions in the treatment area

    - Infectious or viral diseases

    - Hepatitis

    - Cardiovascular diseases

    - Type II diabetes mellitus and higher

    - Blood disorders

    - Epilepsy and mental disorders

    - Having a pacemaker

    - Pregnancy, breastfeeding

    - Oncological diseases

  • Electroepilation provides effective hair removal on all areas of the body where unwanted hair may occur, including:

    • Face

    • Legs

    • Arms

    • Underarms

    • Bikini area

    • Abdomen

    • Chest

    • Buttocks

    • Back

    • Feet, etc.

  • Electroepilation is the perfect solution for all skin and hair types! The color of the hair pigment does not matter for the electrical impulse.

No matter how fine or coarse your hair is, electroepilation can be adjusted to remove even the finest hairs.

Whether your hair is gray, white, fuzzy, or dark, each hair is removed completely and permanently, regardless of your skin and hair type.

  • Depilation involves the removal of hair using mechanical methods such as waxing, sugaring, hair removal creams, tweezing, shaving, or using an electric epilator. These methods provide only temporary results.

On the other hand, electroepilation guarantees long-term and permanent results by individually targeting hair follicles with electrical impulses.

  • Electrolysis significantly differs in its application and success prospects from light-based methods such as Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and Super Hair Removal (SHR).

For long-term or permanent hair removal, many individuals immediately think of providers of IPL, SHR, and laser hair removal techniques, as they actively advertise themselves in the market.

More than 80% of my clients come to me after laser hair removal. And now we are not talking about a single procedure; very often it is a course or even permanent use of this method for several years.

  • Firstly, according to the results of clinical studies, only electroepilation has been recognized as a method that removes hair permanently. The U.S. government agency Food and Drug Administration, which regulates, among other things, the medical field, as well as the American Medical Association, allow the use of the note "permanent hair removal" only for electroepilation.

Meanwhile, photoepilation and laser hair removal are positioned as "permanent hair reduction."

Secondly, the principle of action: The laser reacts to the pigment melanin. That is, laser hair removal can temporarily reduce the growth of dark hair, while light, fluffy hairs are simply not recognized by the laser.

In contrast, electroepilation acts directly on the growth zone of each hair, coagulating it. In this case, the color and type of hair do not matter.

Thirdly, in about 10% of cases, the laser can even stimulate hair growth (a condition known as paradoxical hypertrichosis) and thus increase the previous hair density.

Laser hair removal is a quite effective and efficient method, but it must be acknowledged that it is temporary.

If you want to get rid of hair FOREVER, only electroepilation can achieve that for you.

  • Yes! Electroepilation is the only method of permanently removing hair by destroying your hair at the root, so they can no longer grow back. This method was first used almost 150 years ago and has been expanded and refined over the decades, now successfully practiced in Germany as well.

  • The duration of the course depends on several factors such as the hair growth phases (anagen, catagen, and telogen), hormonal and genetic characteristics. Additionally, it depends on the hair density and the size of the body area that needs to be treated.

Hair is in different stages of growth:
    - Anagen: growth stage
    - Catagen: root dying stage
    - Telogen: hair shedding and new root formation stage

The cyclical nature of hair growth does not allow their elimination in one session. The process of removing unwanted hair is gradual. During one session, only the hairs in the growth phase will be removed. During subsequent sessions, the number of follicles will decrease by about 20%, and so on until complete disappearance.

The number of procedures varies from 6-7 to 10-15, all individually. But with each procedure, the duration decreases. After the 6th procedure, remaining hairs are removed.

It is important to remember that the results of electroepilation do not appear instantly. And although this process is lengthy, the results are worth every procedure conducted!

  • The intervals between procedures depend on the area being treated and the associated hair growth cycles, typically ranging from 3 to 5 weeks.

Speaking of that, I often joke that even if you come twice a year, your hair will disappear in about seven years.

Of course, nobody wants to stretch the course of procedures over such a long period of time. It is recommended to have procedures once a month; when only individual hairs remain, the interval increases to one and a half months. Between procedures, you can shave your hair, of course, if it is not the facial area.

As for the face, if you plucked your hair with tweezers before starting the course, the visits will be more frequent at the beginning. After all, the hairs were plucked as they grew, and you didn't see the real picture of their quantity. Agree, nobody waits for a month to pluck them all. As soon as one hair becomes noticeable, the hand immediately reaches for the tweezers. Therefore, regrowth will also be uneven. And here are two options: either visit the procedures more often, or trim the hairs between procedures and come as often as possible.

Electroepilation has a cumulative effect. Even if you stop halfway through the course, the hair density will never return to its original state.

The main thing is to start! And remember that only electroepilation can remove unwanted hair. FOREVER.

  • Electroepilation can be performed at any time of the year.

However, if it involves exposing areas of the body, it is particularly important during the summer period to avoid direct sunlight on the treated skin areas for 2 weeks before and after the procedure to prevent pigmentation.

  • The level of pain during electroepilation is individual and depends on the sensitivity of the skin and the type of hair. Minor discomfort is possible. The insertion of a fine needle does not cause pain. Stimulation of the hair follicle with an electric pulse may feel like warmth or slight tingling, similar to the process of plucking. The reaction may vary in different areas of the body.

Special creams with analgesic effects are usually used to reduce discomfort and pain. A qualified specialist will help select effective methods to reduce pain to make the procedure as comfortable as possible.

  • After electroepilation, the following phenomena are considered normal:

    • Swelling and slight redness. Redness is a natural reaction of the body, indicating that blood has rushed to the area affected by the electric current and the healing process has begun. Redness usually disappears very quickly, within 3-5 hours.

    • Scabs. They do not appear very often and usually disappear on their own within a week. In the first few days, they should not be scratched or steamed, as this may cause them to come off before new thin skin forms underneath.

    • Itching. This is a natural part of the healing process associated with the release of histamine. These phenomena are not a cause for concern, but it is important not to irritate the skin.

  • The duration of the session depends on the hair density and the area of the body that needs to be treated. The procedure can range from 5 minutes to 4-5 hours.

  • - Do not use hair removal methods like shaving, waxing, or depilatory creams before the procedure.

    - Avoid bleaching, lightening, or plucking hair.

    - Ensure that hair has a length of at least 3-5 mm.

    - For facial procedures, remove makeup and cleanse the skin before the session.

    - Maintain skin hydration by drinking an adequate amount of fluids (1.5-2 liters per day).

Following these steps will help ensure the effectiveness and comfort during the electroepilation procedure.

  • During the first 48 hours after the procedure, it is recommended to refrain from the following actions:

    - Mechanical actions such as exfoliation, shaving, tweezing, visiting pools and saunas, exercising in the gym, exposure to ultraviolet rays (solarium, sunbathing), finger contact, soap or cleansers, makeup, bleaching agents, and all regular skincare products.

    - You can care for the skin using wound healing ointments, cooling gels like aloe vera.

  • The consultation lasts approximately 45 minutes. I will provide you with detailed information about the electroepilation process and, of course, answer all your questions, inform you as much as possible, and prepare you for the procedure. If you wish, you can also undergo a trial procedure (10-15 minutes) to see how your skin reacts to the procedure and how you personally perceive it.

  • In any case, a consultation and medical history collection are required, even if you already have experience with electroepilation. The procedure can start immediately after the consultation.

  • The consultation lasts 45 minutes and costs a one-time fee of 50 euros. Optionally, it includes a free trial procedure (10-15 minutes).

Payment for electroepilation is made at the minute rate. For information on the cost of the electroepilation procedure, press the "Contact via WhatsApp" button.

  • In my practice, all stages of disinfection and sterilization are strictly observed. Sterile insulated probes, sheets, and gloves are used for each electroepilation procedure, which are disposed of after use. Tweezers undergo three stages of cleaning after use: disinfection, rinsing with running water, and sterilization. The workstation and treatment area are thoroughly disinfected before starting the procedure.

  • The time for your procedure has been specially reserved for you. If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please notify me as soon as possible, but no later than 24 hours before the scheduled time.

    PLEASE NOTE.

In case of inability to attend or cancellation less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, you will be charged a FEE.

    Thank you for your understanding.
